spin-off to sharing rooms

I have a 5 yr old DS and a 2 yr old DD. I actually want them to share rooms.

They love being with each other and she is always in his room playing anyway.

I think they would have a blast sharing a room, but, is it odd at this age to have a boy/girl share a room, and if not, when would you separate them?

It's not odd. My ENT, her kids are 11 and 9 boy/girl and they share a room. She's just starting to seperate them now because they are starting to want seperate rooms.

I only have a DS now, but we are TTC #2. we have 3 br's. I have converted the 3rd BR to a playroom for now. When #2 comes, they will share a room regardless of sex for at least the next 5 years. And we are looking forward to it.
