Lactation Counselor..
If anyone used one, how much was the cost? My friend is interested but not sure she can swing it..

My friend is, she is a vendor on here.. Try Baby Breaths. I'm not sure how much , but she loves to teach .. Her name is Wendi

Lactation Counselor..
I used a LC tha'ts also a ped so it was covered by insurance, just a copay for myself and DD. Peconic pediatrics, if she can make the trip to Riverhead they were wonderful.

La leche league is free, as are several support groups in hospitals. It may not be one on one, but it's help and it's free.

Lactation Counselor..
I used Donna at Lakeshore lactation in Massapequa who charged 200 and she was worth every penny. She diagnosed my DS was tongued tied and helped us get it corrected and work thru it
If money is an issue definitely check with the hospital and la leche

I paid around $250 for a home visit. I live in Manhattan.
Bev Solow fixed my YDD's latch issue in one visit. She is amazing! Well worth the cost b/c I don't have to pay for formula!
