D&C today
So I had a D&C today to remove a polyp that was blocking my uterus. Apparently, it was acting as a natural IUD, so I couldn't get pregnant. Had the surgery this morning (my first surgery...yikes! ) and it was actually not that bad! I have an extreme phobia of getting blood drawn, so after I had my usual panic attack and they did the bloodwork/IV, it was smooth sailing. I am out of the game for a few months, but I will be back to TTC, with hopefully no more issues in the spring!
I can't say enough good things about St. Joseph's Hospital and my OB-GYN Dr. Lewis Rosenberg. Everyone was so nice and the nurse was so kind about my bloodwork phobia thing. Usually, they think I am joking until I have a full-blown panic attack, but she really listened and did it as quickly as possible and even got my DH out of the waiting room to come hold my hand.

Thanks ladies! I am looking forward to TTC without anything in the way! I am also looking forward to getting to know the ladies on the TTC board. I have been lurking for a while!
