Mommy Remembers You
Nobody remembers you.
Daddy hasn't said a word.
Your big sister doesn't remember that she used to pray for you every night, but don't be mad, she is only 2!
No one remembers you were supposed to be born tomorrow.
Please, dont be sad. Mommy remembers you EVERY single day. Mommy remembers how we planned on how to tell your family. . . and how she pictured you playing with your big sister.
Mommy remembers the day she found out she was having you, and the day she found out she lost you.
Someone, somewhere knew that we weren't ready for you. Someone, somewhere knew that your home would be destroyed. That it wouldn't be a safe and pretty place for you to come home to.
Mommy doesn't know how this all works. If you get to stay with angels or you are coming back to me. Either way, one day I will hold you in my arms and rock you just like I dreamed of doing when you were in my belly.
Mommy will remember you tomorrow, on the day that should have been your birthday, and every day after that.

I am so sorry for your loss
I also wanted to say that was really sad and beautiful. It really touched me and brought back my own memories. I suffered 2 losses in 2009. My DS was 2 & 2-1/2 at that time. I still remember the days I found out for each of my PGs and all of those details. I have a picture taken at a b'day party the day we found out the for the 1st one. I am huggy DS. I look so happy.
I am not as sad about it as I once was. Life has moved on. We had another baby last February. But no matter what, the babies that I lost and never got to know will always be a part of me.
I'm sitting here, trying to come up with something inspirational and I really can't. I've typed and deleted a few things. I'm not good with words that way. I guess I just wanted to let you know that I know how you feel and that my heart goes out to you. (and to everyone else suffering a loss)
