Amnio Question
My sister is having an amnio tomorrow. Just out of curiosity, how soon after the test do you find out if it's a boy or girl?

7-10 days unless she does the "FISH" (forget what it stands for) then they should be able to tell her within 24-48 hours.

They told me 10 days to 2 weeks.
I had an OB appt somewhere in that time frame- after 10 days but before 2 weeks- and my results were in then
