Anyone see Jill Zarin on WWHL?
I finally got around to watching the DVR of this. I thought it was really insightful as to how these shows really work. Sad, actually as she pretty much implied she staged the fight with Bethenny for ratings and to stay relevant on the show. And then seemed surprised that Bethenny didn't play along for the make-up part of her plan. I also thought it made her look sad and pathetic which I never got from her on the show. Anyway, i thought it was interesting as a bravo watcher and was curious what others thought...

Yes, I didn't like how she kept saying that Bethenny blew her off bc she didn't want her involved in her future projects, etc, when it was Jill that needlessly started the whole thing for ratings and popularity. Bethenny tried many times to reconcile with her before writing her off totally. I think Bethenny truly believed their friendship was REAL and was deeply hurt by Jill's actions.
She twisted the whole thing.

I thought it was interesting that Andy went to go shake her hand at the end of the interview. I think she really ticked him off, with her spilling production secrets, script lines, etc... So that hand shake was probably a big F.U.
I read his book, and in it he writes about the times she would blow up his phone asking why isn't ginger (her dog) a bigger star than Giggy. She was somethin else.

Yeah you could tell from his book that he honestly does not like her. He knows how pathetic she is but she clearly does not have that same level of self awareness so I think that's the only reason he even had her on, basically to embarrass her. She doesn't even get it.
She's so sad, with her talking about how she has more twitter followers or facebook likes than all the housewives combined and he's looking at her like, "aha, and, what's your point who cares?". Only she cares....she's soooooo insecure and really feels that number of fans=how wonderful she is. It's sad. And her fact checking how often he hangs out with Bethany and where, etc. She's obsessed.
All that said I find her extremely annoying. I honestly think he let her go because she annoyed the crap out of him off the show.

I think she was desperately trying to get back on the show. It was a sad sad attempt at trying to look relevant.
I felt even worse for Bethenny after hearing what caused the fight between them and yet Jill still had the nerve to slam Bethenny throughout the interview!

Must be a hard pill to swallow - being kicked off a reality show.
Like your own life and self is not interesting enough to be viewed as entertainment and fodder.
I mean at least actors who have a show that gets canceled - it's not their fault, you know? But to be cast in reality entertainment and not asked back - that's gotta be crushing.

It was hard to watch. I was so embarrassed for her. She didn't even realize how pathetic she looked trying to win her way back onto the show.

She was really grasping at straws! She even said they replaced her with a Jill'esq character in hiring Heather. Andy was so funny; "oh because she has a shape wear line?" Jill: "No because she's Jewish." If anything, she's just like Teresa! They both think Bravo should kiss the ground they walk on, and they both are what made Bravo popular.
I don't understand why Bravo had her back on to "clear her name". The only thing I can think of is maybe they wanted to test the water temp to see how fans would react if she was back on RHONY?
BUT, she really has her head buried in the sand if she thinks SHE'S the reason why the show didn't do so well! For me personally, once Bethenny left, I was pretty much done with that show.
Once the execs start getting rid of a majority the original cast, I lose interest.
