I want another tear jerker...

I cry at weird books but here's my picks for books that always make me cry:

The Bronze Horseman by Paullina Simons
A Prayer for Owen Meany by John Irving
The World According to Garp by John Irving

Re: I want another tear jerker...

Agree with 1000 Splendid Suns and A Prayer for Owen Meany. Also, the Kite Runner. They're a little different though. I wouldn't intentionally read a tear-jerker, but I read these because of the stories

I think almost anything by John Irving will make you cry at some point, but it has a lot of depth and more to it so I wouldn't necessarily put it in that genre

Night Road by Kristin Hannah had me crying for sure. Her most recent work is Home Front, and I thought that was really good, too. I don't remember if I cried, though.

Thousand Splendid Suns as others have said was excellent.

I have been wanting to read Firefly Lane forever but it doesn't seem to be available as an e-book.

I agree with Firefly Lane - major tears!
A friend just said Night Road was a book that had her crying for a lot of it.
