Luigi's (NHP) or Tavern 18 for Shower?
I'm trying to help plan my sister's shower and someone had suggested these two places---I haven't been to either
Are these good places for showers? Tavern 18 had the menu online and looked really good, but I couldn't find a website or any info on Luigis.
Any thoughts? Which one is more of a "shower" location?

Don't know about tavern 18, but I have had a lot of work functions at luigi's and they were always great. I even said "this would be a nice place for a shower". The only thing is the back room is on the smaller side and I dont see it fitting a very large shower, maybe 50 tops ( still check it out if this is your case in case I am wrong).

I love Luigi's!
Like the prior poster said though - they DO have a back room that is private, but I find it small. They have a great menu and really good food, so if it's in the running I would go and take a look at it.
Tavern 18 is owned by the same people who own Luigi's and they are right next door to each other, so you can check out both places.

I have been to both places for parties and my sister's baby shower that I helped plan was at Tavern 18. We did a brunch and the food was great (and lots of it) but they were new then and the service wasn't excellent. Also, there is a private bathroom in the room that they said was out of order. The restaurant's bathroom is a single stall so that was a bit of a hassle to wait for. The second party was much better, service wise. Luigi's was also really great food. The party I went to was in the main room (they rented out the whole restaurant). They have a small back room that is really cute and cozy. Neither place has a changing table in the bathroom - I don't know if this is something that you need though.
