Spinoff to really small nursery
DS will be almost 3 when the new baby arrives. We have a 2 bdrm apt. Did anyone else have their children share a room? DS slept in our room until about 6-8 weeks, but then we moved him into his own room. My concern is that if we move the baby into the room with DS, the baby will wake up DS during the night. Any thoughts?
We are hoping to move before then, but it may be difficult to sell in this market...
Thanks!

Re: Spinoff to really small nursery
We are planning on having DD and the new baby share a room. I'll probably move the new baby in there around 3/4 months depending on how often he/she is waking up. Honestly, even if we were to have a third bedroom, I'd want to use it as a guest room. I don't feel like they need to have their own room when they are so little.

My SIL did it with her two children, who were 2 1/2 years apart. The baby definitely woke the toddler up all the time (his favorite phrase was "jayda's dying mommy" -- he couldn't say "crying") but it didn't last forever. I think he can sleep through anything now, though!
