What do you put in the crib with your baby?

So Maddie is 10 months old, and I still cannot get her to nap without a huge battle. She doesn't have a lovey, but I have been trying to put her down awake with different toys she loves to see if any of them can help the process of her falling asleep along. Her learning to stand in her crib has really put a monkey wrench in my put her down awake success.

So how old is your baby, and what do you have in their cribs for nap and bedtime? Nothing besides the baby? One lovey? A couple toys? Books? Soother?

Also, What does your baby wear to bed for naps? Same as bedtime?

What do you put in the crib with your baby?

DD is 11 months and up until now she didnt have anything in her crib except 3 pacis lol. But i just started putting a plush doll in there and i see her throw it around to get it out of her way when she moves around. She has never been interested in "playing" in her crib unfortunately.

Dd is 17 months and we have never put anything in the crib. She naps in whatever clothes she is wearing.

Dd is 2 and for a while now she's had a bunch of stuffed animals in there. When she was your daughters age she had a lovey and blanket that she is attached to.
For naps she wears whatever clothes she is in. For night pj's.

She naps in anything. But if I'm able, I will put her in something comfy and long sleeve since I keep the house cold. At 10 mos she had a toy phone and a book or 2. Now at 16 Mos she has a bunny/lovey and I keep several books on the crib rail for when she wakes. Oh and there's about 7 paci's around too

They have a lovey and a small pillow pet.

I go in before I go to bed and put one or 2 books in the corner of the crib so they can read/play a little when they wake up.

They are 17 mo

My DS is almost 19m and the only thing in his crib is a knitted blanket which IS his lovey. He can't sleep without it. He wears the clothes that he is wearing for the day for naps.. At bedtime he's been wearing pjs with long pants and a shortsleeve shirt.

DD has 2 loveys and 4 pacifiers. LOL.
She entertains herself when she wakes up by throwing her loveys around and switching out pacifiers into her mouth.

At 10 months I let them have a lovey, before that just a paci. Actually they each have about 10 pacifiers in their crib ha

At 17 months DD has a pillow, pacis and about 8 stuffed animals. It's been that way for the past 4 -5 months. She loves sleeping on a pillow

When DD turned a year I let her start bringing stuff in to her crib with her. Right now she has a lovey, two small stuffed dolls, a loose weave knit blanket, and she usually snatches a small board book and brings that too. She's a hoarder! BUT she goes down happy and wakes up happy plays for 20 minutes before I go get her. She always sleeps in a sleep sack over her clothes.

When DD was younger I'd let her fall asleep with that Scout toy that plays nature sounds and songs in the bottom corner of the crib. After she fell asleep I would go in and take it out. Around 10 months I added an Aden + Anais lovey (they make small little ones with satin on the edges). And now at a week shy of a year she also has a regular Aden + Anais blanket in there. All 3 things stay in there and we haven't had any issues. Do they help her fall asleep? I don't think so, but she likes to pull at the sheet when she's falling asleep so now she does that to the blanket instead.

DS is 1 and he naps in whatever clothes he is wearing.
bedtime he usually has his twilight turtle in there with him. he'll play with that for about 3 mins before he falls asleep or he destroys his mobile daily.
for naps, if i know he is tired but he is fighting sleep, then i toss a toy or two in there with him and he plays quietly for a bit an dthen falls asleep

My son is 12 months old and he has just started to become attached to a lovey (it's one of those angel dear blankies). I first put it in his crib for naps but just within the past week I put it in with him at night too. I like that when he wakes up, he has something to play with for a few minutes.

He naps in whatever he's wearing.

Blanket only until 18 months now just 2 blankets and a pillow. Sometimes one stuffed animal.

Nothing goes in crib except her pacifier. She naps in whatever she's wearing for the day (unless it's something like a dress or fancy-ish).

At around 14 months we started putting in two stuffed animals for the her to sleep.

I change her into comfy elastic waisted shorts/pants and a fresh shirt for naps, it grosses me out for her to sleep in clothes that she's been out and about in, I'm a nut

Have you tried a sleep sack? That might help preventing her from pulling to stand up. It's a wearable blanket.

My kids napped in whatever they were wearing that day, although sometimes I took off their pants if it was hot.

DS had a lovey from 5 months on, but DD didn't take to a lovey until after she was a year old and until then slept with nothing. She would grab the sheet to soothe herself to sleep - still does at age 2

My DD is 15.5 months old and since birth she has had a bunny/lovey in the crib with her. Since about 9 months she has had a pooh bear in addition to the bunny/lovey.

She sometimes uses the pooh bear as a pillow...lol.

What do you put in the crib with your baby?

He is 15 mos and for awhile he has had his build a bear puppy, stuffed mickey, letter e (stuffed), FP glow seahorse and a stuffed Bullseye from toy story. Lined up at either end of the crib. We originally put them there to stop him from banging his head. Bonus is that they keep him entertained in the morning.

All that... But he doesn't have a lovey!!!
