Catholic mommies? Can I pick your brain for a minute?
I have 2 questions 1) what are you wearing (or wore) to the baptism ?
2) did you hire entertainment?
3) and lastly what did you do as far a favors? Thanks in advance!

i wore a dress and my DH wore a suit
we hired a dj cause we had a big party afterwards at a hall but not many people danced
for favors, i gave little picture fames with a blue cross on it and then send everyone who attended a picture of my DS in his baptismal gown that fit the picture frame as a thank you

1. I'm wearing a fitted sexy mamma dress  no body parts are showing but it hugs my body, it's sleeveless
2. No entertainment
3. Chocolate lollipops
DDs baptism party is on Sunday at a local catering hall, we are having about 75 people

I wore a dress that was altered to fit my body. Due to my breasts being much larger postpartum, I wore a style that covered them up (high neck and sleeveless... knee length). DH wore a suit and tie.
No, we did not have entertainment. Our party was at a place similar to KOC or VFW. I just didn't feel it was necessary for us and our guests.
We did not pass out favors the day of the party. I did make chocolate cross lollipops but had them on the dessert table. The "favor" was a photo of DS in their thank you card as well as his birth announcement photo that I never had the chance to mail out sooner. (He was christened at 10 weeks old.)

Exactly the favors we gave too.
I wore a black and white dress, not fitted at all, more flowy. It was also like a wrap dress in the chest. I wanted something I could pull my breast out in to BF. Not like I could pull my entire dress up.  DH wore a suit.
No entertainment. But our party was low key in the clubhouse where we live.

We had the after party at a restaurant so no entertainment but we also only had adults with 5 plus DD
For favors we gave out chocolate lollipops in the shape of crosses and angels in pink and white.

I wore a dress.
No entertainment (except the radio playing in the backyard).
For DS we did a set of coasters and for DD we did cookies. Honestly, I think anything edible is a better choice.

I'm wearing a dress. I went to the Ann Taylor Factory Store before returning to work and got some nice cottony dresses so I'm wearing one of them. It's short sleeved with flowers and it has a waist. It looked pretty flattering. For DS 1, I had more time PP to prep (although I think I weigh the same) and got a sleeveless empire waist dress at Macy's and wore a cardigan over it.
We did hire entertainment but, we are having a large celebration with a lot of little kids. We opted for a DJ. I waitressed at the place where we had/will have the christening and it was really difficult when people had large parties with a large number of kids and nothing for them to do. They started to be somewhat destructive and drove us nuts!
For DS 1 I put together bags of Hershey Kisses with personalized stickers on the bottom. Most of the people left them behind so for DS 2 I decided not to do favors (the majority of Christenings we have gone to haven't had favors). I think we are going to put the money towards desserts instead and possibly add an ice cream bar.

I wore a dress. No entertainment - we did a small family only dinner at a restaurant. Favors were cross cookies with DDs name on them. I got them from an Etsy vendor - delicious and great to work with.

I wore a black dress, but the top portion was lace. I was trying hard to cover up the extra weight.
I did not have a DJ, but we had a magician that even the adults loved.
It was December so I gave out Lenox Ornaments- everyone loved them.

What I'm wearing- no clue. I ahve 3 weeks to figure it out but nothing to fancy. It will probably be hot so maybe a sundress.
We are not doing favors or any entertainment,.....our party is in our backyard and very casual,

For both baps I wore a dress. One in hot pink and the other in deep purple both sleeveless tank style dresses
2) No entertainment was hired
3) for favors for my dd we gave out wine stoppers with crosses on top for my ds we gave out little mason jars filled with blue jordan almonds

I wore a nice dress from Bebe. DH wore a suit. We didn't hire entertainment although we did have a big party at a catering hall, I figured on a sunday afternoon it wasn't needed, and it wasn't. We did chocolate lollipops for favors.

2) did you hire entertainment? we had a dj. Had it in a separate room in a restaurant with about 50-60 people. DS hated it cause it was too loud for him (he was barely 3 months) but everyone else loved it. there was lots of dancing
3) and lastly what did you do as far a favors? i made chocolate lollipops- a baby carriage that said baptism across it. Did them in blue and white. Image Attachment(s):

For DS#1, I wore a brown/white sundress (I was very uncomfortable with my body then so had a horrible time finding something). We did cross cookies as favors
For DS#2 (party 7/15) I am probably going to wear a brown/purple maxi floral dress being it will be an outdoors summer style party. We are doing cake balls as favors.
i didn't hire entertainment. But I will be doing a bouncer for DS#2's party in July.

I've had three DCs christened.
I wore a dress for the first one and realized quickly I couldn't BF so for DS#2 I wore dress pants with a nice shirt and sweater. For #3, I wore a nice Tahari dress that I loved (my body isn't any where near where it used to be, sadly) for the church then I changed into a skirt/top that was better for nursing during the party afterwards.
For all three parties, we didn't hire entertainment. I set up a table with some games/activities/coloring books and had some trains/cars/yo-yo's/fake moustaches, etc. Everyone always had fun.
We did cross cookies as favors for all three parties as well.

DH wore a suit.
We had a Spanish Guitar player for a portion of our reception- Vitto Genna (AMAZING and highly recommend)

OMG thank you so much My post partum shape has been tough to be paitent with since the pounds aren't dropping off as easily as I would like. I was almost embarrassed to post a photo but I thought...heck...maybe it will help someone.

DS's baptism is this Sunday! I am wearing a dress (not too formal, but not a sundress). And red strappy sandals with a shrug over the dress for the Church.
We are having the party catered, but at home with just immediate family from both sides, so there is no entertainment.
No favors either.
