Re: Registry Help

I'd stay away from Gerber clothes. They run ridiculously small. Stick with Carters or Little Me. But people just get whatever clothes they want so I wouldn't worry about it too much.

You need at least 4 towels. I think we have about 8 lol.

I'd get the snugride 22 instead of the really heavy one. You'll probably move to the convertible before you get anywhere near the weight limit (unless you and your DH are really tall people, then you'll need the extra height probably).

Soothies pacifiers
Wubbanub(s)
Sippy cups
bowls, spoons, snack catchers, plates etc. You usually start feeding the baby between 4 & 6 months which isn't that long -- you'll definitely want to have those at hand.

Dr. Brown's Formula-Mixing pitcher
A&A Swaddler blankets
Breathable bumpers
Way more outlet covers... I must have 5 packs right now lol
secure the tv safety bar
Furniture straps
Inflatable bath tub (from about 6 m you use it -- earlier if they sit up earlier)
Waterproof bathtime books
Stacking cups (best toy ever)
Baby Einstein music box toy
Sorting blocks
Bright Starts Around-We-Go table
Fisher Price Puppy doll
Balls or toys with tags on them
Sippy Cups
Another type of bottle starter pack (highly recommend the Dr. Browns -- we started with the ventaire and DD rejected them very suddenly at 10 w)

We never used those scratch mittens. I got good at cutting her nails from day 2. They're supposed to get used to the tactile touch from the beginning.

Sleepers (sleep & plays)

Extra waterproof lap pads and the larger size ones too. You can stick one in the car for changes or on top of the changing pad to keep the changing pad cover from getting dirty. We changed DD on the ottoman the first few months and just used the waterproof pads on that. She peed on lots of them lol. I just bought more for #2.

Small food mill is good if you want to prep small batches of food. I loved my stick blender for food.
Books on baby feeding (like baby cook books) if you plan to make your own food.

That's just what popped into my head after looking at your registry. It's up to you if you want to register for a convertible car seat now. They usually expire in 6 years so you might want to wait until after the baby is born to buy one so you'll have more use out of it, since you use them rear-facing until at least 2 years old and then forward facing for several years more until their body is developed and strong enough for a booster car seat.

Oh we also have an audio only monitor that's fabulous --the sony one. At night I turn off the video monitor and just use that.

Highly recommend the Aden & Anais burpy bibs, too. They are the best burp cloths EVER. You can snap two together and make a mommy burp cloth bib, too, so it doesn't slip off.

Storage baskets.
