Water Sono and Antibiotics?

Water Sono and Antibiotics?
Did you take antibiotics before, during, and after the water soon? My RE wants me to do 5 days of Doxycycline. I hate taking antibiotics for no reason, so my question is, did your dr have you do this?

Nope, I did not. Nor did I get an infection from it. It literally took 1 minute.

Yes to prevent infection it was just 2 pills day before and the day of.

Yes I did too. I didn't really want to either especially since I didn't have to for the hsg test, but I sucked it up and did anyway.

Its all up to your RE, some do and some don't. I never did, I've done 2 of those, plus 3 HSG's. I suppose all together that is with 3 different RE's.
