Fanforum.com spoiler site is predicting it is Lexie. That the bittersweet ending is Sloane tells her he loves her back and then she dies. I am leaning towards this theory as well. Didn't they have Derek almost die already? Why do it again. Arizona is plausible but she has too much of a storyline I think.
Could also be Sloane, now that I think about it. Same bittersweet ending--he professes his love, saves her, and things look great, and then he suddenly dies. internal injuries or something, so it's not predicitable. Then Mer would want to stay for Lexie, and Derek wouldn't resist that--he would stick around for Mer, because he cares about Lexie, and Mark was his friend--he would want him to watch out for Lexie.

I really think it's Arizona now. My theory is this: Karev got an offer in the best hospital - it's his dream come true, so why would he stay in Seattle Grace? If something happened to Arizona he would HAVE to stay. I don't think it's Lexie bc she really hasnt been relevant this season.

I WISH it was Adele...I know it's mean, but I don't want Arizona or Lexie to leave. I still think it's Arizona, but I could see how it's Lexie too after reading some of your responses. I can't WAIT for Thursday!

Before the whole plane crash thing, I also thought they were going to kill off Adele. It kinda feels right given the storyline.

Arizona- the only way this would work is so that Karev would stay as the ped and not go to Hopkins
I agree with thinking that it's Derek. I can't see any other reason why Mer and Cristina would stay in Seattle.

I can't wait for this tonight...Perez Hilton has the first 6 minutes of tonights episode posted on his site.
I refuse to watch it - I need to see it all at once
I think it's Derek or Arizona....or rather I hope its one of them. I like Mark and Lexie and am rooting for them to get back together and start a life with one another.

I watched the first 6 minutes and it was pretty intense and graphic. Cant wait for tonites episode.
