Feel terrible for DH . . . A little TMI
Ever since we found out I was pg in December I just have not been in the mood for any type of Now in my 2nd tri I feel awful about it and am trying to make the effort. But every time we try even my bodys not in the mood, I'm just so dry and nothing helps. Have any of you gone through this? I hope I'm not alone

DH is going on 8+ months without it. I feel bad but first I had terrible m/s, then I just didn't want to for fear of a loss (we had a previous one) and now I'm just so uncomfortable he hasn't got a chance in hell I give you credit for even making the effort!

You are definitely not alone. I was put on pelvic rest until about 16-17 weeks due to spotting so we didn't BD for a long time. Then it got awkward and uncomfy so I can count the number of times we did it on one hand. Dh has been super understanding but I still feel really bad about it!

Re: Feel terrible for DH . . . A little TMI
We definately have cut back a LOT and I feel bad for DH as well. Honestly I'm more interested in cuddling and stuff like that then the actual dead. I'm uncomfortable. It's a little strange.
As far as the dryness, I do think that that can be very normal during pregnancy. Our hormones are all out of whack and it is different for everyone. Would you feel comfortable asking your DR about what lubes are safe during pregnancy? Or maybe there are some BTDT ladies on the board who can give you advice in that area.

Had this same exact issue. Mentally would attempt to get in the mood but physically nothing would happen. Tried lube but even with that I haven't been a fan

The dryness is totally normal. My OB recommends using lube every time. She says regular KY is fine.
