Ha Ha! You know I don't cook. Poor DH!
Costco!! They have a great soup we get in the winter, their rotisserie chicken and they have great frozen chicken or turkey meatballs. Either do those steamed veggies in a bag, potatoes, etc for sides Lots of breads/sandwich meats pasta/sauce order in grill when it's warm out sometimes cereal nuggets and fries - in the freezer sometimes breakfast for dinner - bagels, eggs, cereal salad and soup for dinner Oh, and we're 2 minutes from my parents who love to cook. My mom has made big batches of chicken noodle soup, paella, chicken francese, etc DH makes a nice ziti too
You know my toddler doesn't eat at all. I make him sandwiches, oatmeal or steamed beggies THe baby is JUST starting to eat.

Re: Those who say they dont cook during the week?
I don't know about NOT cooking...but if you have a slow cooker...make that your best friend. I make a MEAN pot roast in the crock pot.
1 can carrots 1 can sliced potato 2 lb pot roast 1 packet powder ranch dressing 1 packet powder italian dressing 1 packet powder brown gravy mix 1.5 cups water
put the carrots and potatoes in, then the pot roast on top...then the 3 packets then the water...cook on low for 6-8 hours (8 hours gets you more of a pulled beef type texture)
it takes 2 minutes to throw it all in...it cooks on it's own and when you get home from work you walk in to an amazing aroma of an already cooked dinner. (of course you could use fresh vegetables but for time crunch can is just easier) you can buy pre-made mashed potatoes and BAM thats dinner.
I love my rice cooker too!...rice in the rice cooker and throw a can of a meaty soup over it.

Re: Those who say they dont cook during the week?
If Dh is off we get take out for him and I.
DD really doesn't eat. I am not joking. She will eat a yogurt, or a banana, or some cereal for dinner. Not for lack of trying- she just is NOT a big eater and I feel like her bigger meals are breakfast and lunch. When I offer dinner she usually screams and throws it on the ground.
If Dh is workign I will scarf down left overs, a sandwich, some soup, or just junk food for dinner.

That sounds delicious!!
I am not a cook...at all! But I do make a lot of things in the crock pot. I can make two or three dinners in the crock pot and we will have dinner for the entire work week. On Fridays we usually order Chinese. On Saturdays we usually get take-out with my Dad. On Sundays I will either make something or we'll get take-out again.
I have found so many crock pot recipes on Pinterest!

Re: Those who say they dont cook during the week?
I cook in bulk on the weekends and freeze extra portions for weekdays. For example, I made beef chili in my slow cooker a few weeks ago and froze a lot of it. We have enough for dinner next week, and it'll taste fine since chili freezes well.
We also eat leftovers during the week, sometimes morphed into other meals. For example, a whole roasted chicken on Sunday may turn into chicken paninis with fresh mozzarella on a Tuesday. My deep freeze is full of home cooked meals so that I can avoid cooking during the weekdays.

Re: Those who say they dont cook during the week?
I cook BUT on the nights that we do order in - I will make DD something simple like pasta with ricotta or an omelette with ricotta or american cheese. . . or pasta with butter and cheese.
Now she eats what we do when we get take out but I will still give her this if we get sushi or something - this is only once a month though b/c its $
