This week DS had his Kindergarten Assessment and I nearly cried watching him walk away from me down the hall! I didnt think I was emotional about it but I guess I was wrong!
Can't believe how fast the time has gone....weren't we all just bringing them home from the hospital as Newborns....like yesterday?

My first (and only) son will be starting kindergarten in September. As a SAHM, I have been with him pretty much 24/7 since day 1 with him so this is torture but I'm putting on a brave face.

DS will be starting kindergarten in the fall...DD will be in 2nd grade...im feeling really sad that both kids will be in full time school...its going to be an empty feeling not having anyone home with me on the days I work half day...DS has his pre-k graduation weds, im definitely going to have an entire box of tissues with me during the ceremony. Im really having a hard time ...but im looking forward to enjoying the last summer before DS begins his journey through elementary school! He is excited to be going to the same school as his big sister

We moved 6 mos ago...DH and I have been so busy deciding what school he should go to, getting everything settled.
It isn't the kind of town where there are preschools or anything like that, no real playgroups either, so I have been so excited for Josh to enter school, be entertained and make friends.
I am visiting our old area...and I am getting hit left and right with tons of emotions. The school he was suppose to go to...the friends we use to play with daily...places we went together.
It is too much to handle. I just want him to be 2 again...and wait for a train to come so we can wave at it...
I hate that I won't be with him all day anymore.
ETA: on the other hand, we are nutty. DH and I went to a volunteer meeting and have already been fingerprinted and everything.  when school starts, i don't want a grace period waiting for prints or next meeting.
