How many items on your registry?
I don't know why but I'm struggling to find things to register for and I have 40 items on my babies r us. I guess I don't have an idea what I need!
Some of the stuff I put on there shouldn't even count like dreft and diapers I'm telling you, I'm struggling. I do have the baby bargains book so I have most of the "main" stuff like strollers, playmat, rock & play etc.
I plan to breast feed...what kind of boittles should I register for? what nipple size?
any btdt mommies that have a registry rave?

Re: How many items on your registry?
With my first pregnancy I had something like 170 items!
But keep in mind that there are a lot of things that you will need duplicates of...such as burp clothes, crib sheets, waterproof pads, towels, wash cloths, etc!

Re: How many items on your registry?
I have like 140 items. I, obviously, don't expect close to all of that to be bought. I put on all the big things first. Then I just went online, category by category, and added things that I liked or thought I could use. I put stuff that he's not even going to need for a while, but figured it would be a good option for people to pick up if they wanted to do a basket or something - like sippy cups, child proofing things, etc. You'd be surprised what people pick up. My shower is this Sunday and a lot of stuff is coming off. My BFF who has a toddler looked at my registry and also gave me a lot of suggestions as to what to put on or change quantities of - that was a huge help.
Oh, and I saw you asked about the humidifier. I would suggest putting it on. All the baby books talk about how the first few weeks the baby is pretty congested and how a humidifier will help. I registered for a cool mist one. Baby bargain suggested the Crane brand as a good one

I registered for these too (4 of them). My SIL suggested registering for a few of them becuase she said that they can even be used when they get bigger if they have accidents at night.

I think I had 3-4 waterproof pads and to be honest I used them a LOT. Sometimes the diaper leaks and the bed gets a little wet ... the waterproof pad will make it so you don't have to change EVERYTHING down to the mattress pad, which is a big ordeal especially in the middle of the night. Plus I put them on the changing table so that if the baby pees while you change their diaper they don't get the whole changing pad cover wet...it's easier to throw in the wash then the other things!
