Stiches/Bump on forehead
My DS fell two weeks ago and got a really nasty cut on his forehead 2 weeks ago  He received 7 stitches (1 on inside and 6 on outer) It was the worse thing ever and I still hurt when I think about it. 
The other day I noticed that he still has a massive bump where he got hurt and I am not sure if it has always been there or just got so big. I am starting to worry. Should I be worried? Is this normal? How long does it take for swelling to go down from such a horrible injury?

Do you think he might have fractured his skull?
Has anyone else experienced this with their DCs?

I would take him to the ped or hospital. I don't have experience but a big bump 2 weeks after would worry me for sure...maybe stitches got infected? it could be anything really but please take him to the dr. and don't try to diagnose it on your own. When it comes to head injuries it's a very serious thing. I'd take him ASAP

I have a doctors appointment on Monday. I will call my pediatrician tomorrow and ask her about it.. I cannot remember for the life of me if the swelling has gotten worse or has stayed the same. His behavior is normal and nothing out of the usual. Thanks for your advice and concern...
