Bump on forehead, how long does the bump last?

Bump on forehead, how long does the bump last?
Gavin fell and bumped his head what seems like forever ago, but more likely about 2 weeks ago.
He still has a bump and small bruise.....is this normal to take solong to go away?

my son bumped the side of his head and the next day he got a goose egg or whatever they call it. It was HUGE but I have to say after 1 week it went away along with the bruise. If I were you I would just call the peds office and ask about it.

I think the head would take longer than most of the body, since its just bone with skin over it. Other parts may seem to heal quicker b/c you dont feel with all the tissue over it.
