St Charles Hospital Visiting hours
Ok, I think its 2-4 for grandparents and siblings of the baby and 7-8 for everyone else right? Has anyone else been able to get anyone other than grandparents into the earlier hours? My sisters really would like to come to see and hold the baby during those hours as well. I know the nurse on our hospital tour said they are pretty flexable with who comes in as long as you dont get out of control. Just wondering if anyone has experience with this.

Well, the grandparents have to be buzzed in. If your dh could meet your sister at the door that would be the best way to get her in. Once she is in I don't think they will give you a hard time.

Re: St Charles Hospital Visiting hours
When I had DD this spring, my MIL and FIL came with my BIL so there were no issues. He got questioned by security downstairs (I think he came in through the chapel), but he was still allowed upstairs. The nurses gave us no issues.
I would set a limit for yourself......you will be exhausted, sore and in pain, not to mentioned over joyed with your bundle of joy. Plus, with cold and flu season you want to be careful who is holding your LO! I expressed this to DH, so we had only a small crowd of 3 people and everyone else came at 7pm when the baby was in the nursery.

We had our siblings come the same time as the grandparents both times and they never said anything to us.
