? for those who had to take progesterone

Last week I had red spotting. I went to the ob and found out my progesterone is low. I started the suppositories friday night. The next day it turned brown then stopped. I just started spotting again its pink. I don't have any cramping or anything. Should I be concerned? Has anyone had any side effects or anything to the progesterone?

I was on progesterone but never experienced spotting although I have heard it can be a side effect. I would call the Dr. just to be safe but I'm sure everything's fine.

I had a ton of spotting from the progesterone. The OB said it was irriatation from the suppositories. The spotting was red blood half the time. It stops after a while.

i have been on them for a while and def cause irritation and bleeding

I had pink spotting about 1.5 weeks after starting suppositories

I've been on them for about 3 wks, I have had any side effects except for really bad bloating.

see if you can get a prescription for Crinone progesterone gel. It comes in applicators and it so much better than the actual hard suppositories ! Ive been on them for about 5 weeks now.
