Researching Products for Registry
Where can I go to do research on products that I might be purchasing or registering for? You know, for safety concerns or recalls or just information about the product in general?

I found the Baby Bargains book to be really helpful for deciding which products we needed and which ones were the best for the best price.

Same here. Also you can register with them online to get email if an item has been recalled.

This! I lived by the Baby Bargains book. I brought it with me every time I went to update my registry, earmarked pages..it looks beaten up now definitely worth it!

I have baby bargains but I also liked just using the BRU website. You can sort products by average review to see what others like best. Then when looking at a specific product I read the reviews including from those people who gave it high reviews and low reviews.

also consumer reports publishes a book called "best baby products" with all their top-rated baby stuff
