Had my 2nd level 2 today!

Hi Everyone!

I had my 2nd level 2 sonogram today. We had one 2 weeks ago and there were a few views that they weren't able to get of the baby, so we came back again today to do it again.

This time my 6 year old DD came with me. She was so excited. She said that her favorite part was hearing the baby's heart beat! When we were walking out of the room she said "That was awesome!" She definately loved it and was so excited to tell Daddy all about it.

Of course there is one last thing that they still haven't been able to get a good image of during the sonogram --- the outake valves of the heart. The doc said that everything so far has been normal but they normally do like to see the outake valves and so he would like to be persistent until we see them. So he is refering me to Winthrop Perinatal Associates, since they have higher-res machines, so see if they can get the images there.

Here is a profile of the baby from today! The baby looks like a total alien!

So glad everything is going well. I go to Winthrop Perinatologist for ongoing care so I'm familiar with the MD's and techs there. They are all amazing! I'm sure they'll be able to get what they're looking for there!

Sounds good Melissa! I also have been going to Winthrop Perinatal Associates since week 12, as well as my regular OB! I just had my fetal echocardiogram there last week. I've seen Drs. Muscat, Raphael, Chavez and Kinzler! All super nice and very informative! Dr. Chavez did all the oversight on the heart!

I go there as well and have been very happy! I had the same problem w te valves with my DS and had to go for the fetal echo, everything was fine! With this baby I had to go back a second time to the peri to make sure they got the right pics and they did!
