If you know someone who wants to make the move down to Charlotte-please forward my link! After tons of research and years of moving around Charlotte-I found a way to have it all for 150k. I seriously cannot throw a rock in my neighborhood without hitting a long islander-your people love it down here. Everything is perfect. Safe, low taxes, great schools, equity in house already- everyone down here gets a USDA loan-no money down, no pmi. The area is in a boom, so no real risk to the bank. I LOVE it here. Thanks!

My parents were looking to move down but they chickened out, didn't want to leave us up here on LI. Honestly, if we weren't upside down in our mortgage it's something we would consider. Right now, we're stuck in NY. That townhouse looks amazing though!! My parents were BLOWN AWAY by what you were able to get for the money when they visited. The houses are TO DIE FOR down there!!!!
