Some pregnant women can't sleep...
Because they can't find a comfortable spot.
Or because they wake up nauseus.
Or because the baby kicks them so much that they wake up from it.
Me on the other hand? I can't sleep because DH is snoring SO LOUD!
Am I allowed to banish him to the couch for that?!?

I know it's bad, but DH sleeps in the guest room when I'm pregnant.  I snore worse when I'm pregnant. And he breaths really loud/snores. The combination keeps us up. So, we just sleep apart for now. I really don't care that we are "supposed" to sleep together. I want my sleep and so does he. 
So my feeling is that you can absolutely give him the boot.

With my DH, I wake him up and make him switch positions (if he's on his back, I make him roll onto his stomach, etc). It seems to help.

I make my husband sleep in my DD's room sometimes when his snoring is out of control lol My DD usually ends up in my bed anyway!

So i have the opposite problem...
Apparently I Have taken to snoring since becomming pregnant and it keeps DH up-- so he rolls ME over or wakes me up.
Since I am already getting up a couple of times a night to use the bathroom-- I dont quite appreciate it!!!
I think I need to send him packing too- if he insists on waking me up!

I 'accidentally' lightly elbow him in my 'sleep' He wakes up and turns over and it works nearly every time!

HAHA thats too funny! I'm having the same trouble with DH myself. He's either snoring too loud, breathing in my face with his nasty breathe as he sleeps or feels his side of the bed isn't big enough so he comes to my side and is practically sleeping on top of me!!! I was up every hour the other night because of him!! Im really getting ready to banish him to the couch or the basement!! HAHA

That's funny, I have the reverse issue. My snoring is really bad when I'm pregnant so there are quite a few nights I wake up and my DH is sleeping on the sofa! I keep him up with the snoring! oops

I vote yes! DH used to snore so badly before having his tonsils out that either he or I would sleep in the other room for sanity. I couldn't imagine going thru that being pregnant!

OMG SAME HERE!!!!!!!!! ive been sleeping perfectly fine on my own despite all of the usual issues that I should be havingg pregnant while sleeping...and go figure, DH is snoring worse than ever lately!!!!!!!!
I feel bad banishing him to the couch because he works his a$$ off in construction longer hours than me out in the weather conditions, so I feel bad, but OMG I want to kick him out of bed!!! LOL
I feel ur pain...I make him wear the breathe right strips...and they aren't a 100% solution, but they do help alot
