This day in age....

How does EVERY establishment not have a website nowadays?? Even just to see location and hours for places. It's just so easy to do and so informational. Just a vent and curious at the same time Chat Icon

Re: This day in age....

DW and I say that all the time! It takes a couple of minutes to register a domain name, and you can pay a high school kid $50 to put up something very basic, just to have a web presence.

I was merely pointing out an obvious (to me) error. By the way, if this was a test, you would've failed too.

Chat Icon I hope you feel better knowing you get all your commas and periods correct. You must be a genius.

OP: ITA! It seems crazy to me too!

Clearly this was just merely pointing out an OBVIOUS error! DUH! As if its their job to patrol the posts and correct people...didnt even provide an answer!!

OP: DW and i were just talking about this a few days ago. Totally agree with you, at least just for a presence. although i find that even if the actual business doesnt have a website, there are most likely a few sites that list the addresses, times, menus etc for them.

Sentences should end with a period, and start with a capital letter..... External Image

Commas belong inside quotation marks.

Personally, I would've liked to have been corrected. I said a popular saying wrong for a long time and nobody said anything. I wish someone had told me sooner. I don't know what the fuss is about.

Anyway, ITA. It is extremely easy to do and it annoys me when there's no website set up.

I agree. If it's something you use, wouldn't you prefer to be saying it right? I don't understand why people wouldn't want to learn new things. I get that it's not the "point" of the website, but still. If someone ever wants to correct me, PLEASE DO!!

To the OP: I totally agree with you.

I get aggravated when I look for something online and they have nothing. Usually just makes me look for a different store offering same items

ITA. For a spelling/punctuation error, whatever. But I support correcting a saying when it's actually the wrong word being used.

And yes, EVERY business should have some sort of website these days!
