DS is potty trained but I feel like he is constantly grabbing his area now.

And it seems like he holds it in to the last minute and then announces he has to pee right that second.

He also keeps saying his heiney hurts or has a boo boo - we can't figure out what he means. ?

He never did any of this behavior when in diapers - never grabbed his area or complained about his behind hurting.

what gives?

I think its just t hem becoming aware. Funny my DD is investigatign her parts now...does say boo boo, rash ( I told her her butt was getting a rash b/c it was, the underwear rubbing, being new to her sensitive skin was causing a rash). So now she is obsessed with a rash, which I keep telling her is gone now.

I think it's just them becoming aware.

Eliza does this (almost 3). She's been fully potty trained for about a month and she does/says this at times. I'm thinking it's the "feeling" of needing to go but holding it in. When they were in diapers they just "let it fly", no holding it so the *feeling* wasn't as intense I think.

OMG DS too! Constantly grabbing himself. He also holds it in for so long then runs to the bathroom and pees like a race horse! No clue why he does either of these things lol!
