Thank you so much, everyone.
My D&C is scheduled for Friday.
I will be taking a minimum of 6 months off before I do anything else fertility related. I have been in *tremendous* pain due to my arthritis for the past year, but haven't been able to treat it since I was TTC. It got even worse when I got pregnant, so I realize I need to take time to get my body back in a good place. It just makes me so sad.
An added source of pain is the fact that my 4 year old daughter has been praying SO HARD for a little sister for the past few months. I was SO excited to tell her her prayers had been answered. She is my heart and soul and giving her a sibling is my GREATEST wish in life. My heart is just in pieces.

Thanks. At this point, we don't know why. Dr. B was rather surprised himself. He said he guesses it's genetic, since my immune testing came back perfectly. After the D&C, they'll do the pathology and genetic testing, so I guess we'll see what those results turn up.

I decided to take off from work again tomorrow. I took off today, but really had no time to relax and breathe, as I had to have 3 doctor appts (back to back to back).
I'm a teacher and this being the 2nd week of school, it's AWFUL timing. But as I lay in bed tonight, I realized there is NO way I could go to work tomorrow - I am not okay mentally, physically, or emotionally. I need to take care of me.
This all just plain sucks.

I know how crappy the timining is but you just have to do what's good for YOU. The kids will get over it..... and long term they won't remember that you weren't there the 2nd week of school.
I feel so terrible that you are going through this. I will be around tomorrow during the day if you need anything... to talk .. etc.. You know I have walked in those shoes more times than I would have liked.

You need to heal, emotionally and physically. It's a crappy time of year but you have the time so take advantage of that and please take care of yourself.

So glad to talk to you tonight As you know, I'm so sad for you guys...such an amazing couple and amazing parents already, it's heartbreaking that this has happened after the long struggle you have been through.
