My 19 month old son is biting other kids...I don't want him to be a social outcast! He seems to do it mainly when another kid tries to take a toy he wants or is palying with.

I am doing timeout and explaining- you are in time out bc/ you bit Johnny, we don't bit our friends it makes them sad and hurts them. Its hard not to lose my temper b/c i feel so frustrated and don't feel like this is working

Has anyone had success in stopping a biter? Is it just a phase?
