how do you remove poop stains?
sometimes my DD's poop leaks out of her diaper and gets on her clothes. i rinse the clothes right away and then do a load of laundry as soon as i can but the poop still leaves stains. is there anyway to remove them?

I usually rinse with soap and warm water then wash within a day.

i used to let them soak in dish soap and water for a day then wash. That was the only thing that worked for me.

oxy clean baby. They have it at BBB. Just make sure you don't soak too long.

Rinse immediately with warm water and then put Baby OxyClean on it....That stuff is AMAZING and gets every type of stain out. I know BBB sells it and it's fairly cheap.

I use Dreft stain spray- it's awesome! It has ALWAYS gotten poop out.

I squirt a big glob of Dawn on it. I think Dawn gets the stains out of everything!

and
pre treat with with stain remover with resolve...gets out pretty much every stain I have come across! sometimes it needs 2 washes and NO dryer!

Rinse, leave in water and wash with bar soap.
Put on jel stain stick not the spray. The same day the stain occured - Wash alone or in a small wash of other stained stuff with oxy clean, tide free, and woolite. I would say it works about 90% of the time on the first wash and about 99% after a second wash. In 4 years I have only had to throw out 4 articles of clothing and none of them were for poop.
ETA: I agree with no dryer. If the stain did not come out in the first wash it needs to be rewashed. If it make it to the dryer, I find little hope to get the stain out.
