17 month old climbing out of crib
DS can now climb out of his crib within 3 secs of putting him down. I do not feel comfortable putting him in a bed yet, he is not a good listener, but I am scared he is going to break his neck. I am afraid he will freak out with the tent over the crib. Does anyone have any advice?

Laila started climbing out at 18 months. It sucks, but the only way we could handle it was to buy a long bed rail and convert her crib to toddler. I put a gate up on her door and baby proofed the room. But she didn't get into much. With Mason I have a feeling it will be more difficult. But that's what we did.

Is the mattress already on the lowest setting? If so, I think the only thing you can do is move to a toddler bed with a long rail.
