girls who had a c section- when did you stop bleeding?
I got a c section 9 days ago and I'm still bleeding. Very lightly but I still have to wear a pad. How long did you bleed for? I'm not sure how long is expected, my dr never said anything to me.

Sorry to say but I bled for about 5 weeks (wearing a pad for those weeks).
With DS was bleeding up to 6 wks & then right onto AF

With DD, maybe two weeks? With DS about 4 weeks.
I think it'll just depend on your body. I remember my dr. telling me with DD that she "cleaned me out really well".

I spotted from about 2 weeks then it stopped completely. I really didn't bleed a lot at all after the initial first few days.

bleed for about 4 weeks then break and spotted a bit befoire getting my period...I basically wore a pad for 6-8 weeks

Bled a good amount for 3.5 weeks...stopped for a few days and then it came back again for 2 more weeks.

5-6 weeks, i would also attach a pad to my underwear across where the incision is so the underwear doesnt rub against it. And i also used two pads for the bleeding.

10 weeks for me! I bled for 6 weeks, went for my first follow up appt. which was so gross considering I was still bleeding. I went on birth control pills at that point and I bled for four more weeks-I think the pill prolonged it though b/c my body takes a long time to get used to the pill, so I think that had something to do with it.

I did this but I also wore Depends Underwear (with a pad in it so I didn't have to change the "diaper" so often). The Depends was the BEST. THING. EVER. for the first week or two!
