Lake George - Help with travel with toddler and infant
We are planning a trip to Lake George this summer.
Can you recommend hotels that are toddler/infant friendly?
Has anyone been to the Sagamore or Great Escape?
What are your favorite baby/toddler friendly activities in Lake George?
Plan to go to Magic Forest already.

Re: Lake George - Help with travel with toddler and infant
We went last Oct with our friends when DD was 6 months, and their DC were 2 and almost 4.
We stayed at Fort William Henry resort. It was very nice.
We went off season so there wasn't much open. But there were a few mini golf places around. I forget the name of the place we went to, but it had an indoor roller rink, mini golf (outside), and activity gym inside for the kids to climb on and go karts.
There was also a Six Flags, but it was closed.

Re: Lake George - Help with travel with toddler and infant
Been going to lake george for 32 years. Great Escape is awesome. There is a water park inside the theme park that is included in the price. We usually hit up the regular rides and then after lunch when it is getting too hot take a break in the water park. Then back to a few regular rides before heading home. We stay with our entire family about 20 minutes away on Loon Lake but our friends stay at Stepping Stones. They say it is very family oriented but a little pricey. There is go karts, mini golf, arcades, outlet stores etc. There is a great free fireworks show over the lake on Thursday nights. I think it is at 9pm. MUST SEE! You can rent boats by the day or week. There is parasailing for the adults which is very fun too.

Re: Lake George - Help with travel with toddler and infant
we go every year, last year we had a toddler and an infant.
magic forest is very dirty and has no air conditioning. even still, we bring the kids every year. i'm telling you this so you put them in older clothes so you don't ruin them like we did last year there are coupons on their website.
we're not going to do great escape until the kids are a little older. they're 3 and 1.5 now.
just stay away from scotty's hotel/motel. we had a horrendous experience! i don't remember where we're staying this year.
we have a ton of fun!
