Baby Shower brunch??
Has any one had a brunch at Westbury Manor or any of the other halls?? prices?

I looked into it for my June baby shower and it started at $55, plus gratuity and tax! IMO, CRAZY for a baby shower!
Maybe the prices change per season?
I've attended a shower there and it was very nice. I love their garden room. But, I wouldn't let my mom spend that, despite her wanting to.
I ended up going with Captain Bill's, which I hear great things about and which I'm very excited about.

Fox Hollow has a really good price but you have to guarantee 50 people.

yes, i attended a bridal shower at WM, everything was great, it even had acocktail hour (not sure if its std) no idea of pricing though.

i haven't went to get prices yet.. i had went to a shower there that had a cocktail (which is really not needed because its brunch breakfast food and the cocktail was lunchy food) kind of backwards! ha! i was thinking around the last week of august or beginning of september! Just wanted to see if anyone got prices, so i would know a round-a-bout...

I'm planning on doing something at a catering all also...we're doing a couples shower so we're in the range of 70 guests or so.
Really interested in pricing!
I'm thinking Verdi's of Whitestone or Leonards of Great Neck may be more affordable than Fox Hollow and Westbury Manor, fingers crossed.

I think its 40 per person plus tax and gratuity for fox hollow. They give you a ton of food and that includes wine, champagne and champagne punch. We didn't do it because we were inviting 55 people and didnt want to have to pay for people who didn't come. I already have 5 no's and my RSVP date is June 29th so I think we made a smart decision. But if you have enough people I would have it there, the room is beautiful.

I had my wedding at WM and wanted to have my shower there, but it was way too expensive.
We decided to have it at Mezza on the Green at the Lawrence Country Club. It's absolutely beautiful there and I'm so happy with location and the sit down menu they gave us.
