What are some cute teacher gifts?
The whole class is chipping in and I would be getting $125 GC for each teacher. I would like to take an additional $25 and get them something cute.
Any ideas - or just get them a gift card for $150 each?

NO GIFT! As a teacher, please give the whole amount. We end up with so many small gifts like beach bags, lotions, stationary, it just gets to be too much and often isn't necessarily our taste/style. You can't go wrong with a gift card!

stationary (i know DS teacher sends thank you at the end of the year)
we got her a plant/centerpiece type thing around christmas and she loved it and put a picture up in the classroom of it on her table on christmas day.

Just the $150 gift card. I am a former teacher and while the thought is nice, the gifts were usually not my taste or things I used - I often donated or gave them away.

We're doing something edible and also started making a craft we saw in Family Fun magazine today. It's the letter of her the teacher's first name made out of broken crayons glued onto writing paper and put in a frame with her name under. I figure she can hang it in her class. Hope ours comes out as cute as the one in the mag.!

The best gift I ever, ever got from my class was a $250 Visa gift card (I was working in an affluent area at the time, obviously!). Usually, I get all sorts of trinkets and things I'll never use. A gift card is DEFINITELY the better way to go! Keep in mind that teachers don't make much for what they do, they do it because it's a labor of love...so anything that can help us treat ourselves is greatly appreciated.

We did croc beach bags for each teacher=they are $25. The flower is a jibbit that can be replaced with a ton of other things(initials, soccer ball, apple, peace sign etc)

I gave these to each of Miranda's teachers. Now I knew them pretty well and kind of had a feel for their style so I knew they would be well received. Definitely not a gift for all teachers but they loved them.
