At what age did you start putting DC in your Citi Mini stroller?

DD is 8 weeks old and up till now we've only used the snap n go stroller. Now that it's getting hot out I'm wondering if she might be cooler in the Citi Mini (but maybe that's not really true). What age did you start using the Citi Mini? Do you think it's cooler than the snap n go (we have a Graco) in the summer?

We started using ours around that age as well-DS loved it!

I think your baby is way to small for it. DS was about 8 months before he sort of fit in it (he is also short).

The only time we really used it prior was if we were someplace like a party and used it so he could nap/ sleep in it.

we used it when DS was 4 months. More to take long walks or to nap in when we go out.

We used it more when he was 5 months but he was also weighing in at 20.4 lbs by then

We are changing to the City mini for good as of this weekend b/c his infant car seat is getting too small so we must retire our snap and go

Just started using it at 5 months and I think she is a little too small for it. We have the straps on the lowest setting and they are at her ears instead of her shoulders. Although she is small for it she still loves it and so do I. I would think 7-8 months she will be perfect in it

i dont have the city mini i have the bumbleride and 3 days ago i put ds in the stroller for the first time. he was sweating in the carseat (think of all that foam under the fabric!) and was much much cooler in the stroller.

ds is 2.5 months old.

he fit fine in it. actually slept better and wasnt crying like he was in the carseat!

It is MUCH cooler and has a better shade than the hot infant car seat. DD started using it at 3 months. It reclines fully so you should be able to use it earlier.

I think around 8 weeks. It lays completely flat so it is ok to use right away. I think it would be much cooler and that is exactly why I did it early.

It says not to use it before 6 months old I think.
My DD started using it as soon as we retired the infant seat-and therefore the snap n go- at around 9 or 10 months old

As it was I could barely get the straps tight enough for her...she is tiny though

I started around 3 months but my babies were premies so they are a little on the small fine. I think 8 weeks is fine as long as they aren't sliding around too much. I actually folded a receiving blanket up and put it under their butts to raise them up a little.

ITA that it is much cooler than being in the car seat in the snap n go

I put DS in it when he was around 3 months. I kept the seat fully reclined.

I think around 5mo and they were still really small for it.

We started around 3 months for long walks, she loved it right from the start.

As long as you have it in the fully reclined position its safe to use for younger babies.
