What baby gear do you take to the beach?
Not sure if we should buy one of those baby beach tents. Is this worth it or a waste of money?
I was thinking maybe we should take our travel swing with us. Hoping to relax a little.
What do you take to the beach?

Last summer we used the beach tent. DD was 7 months and loved it. I packed a bag with all her toys and she kept herself busy. I never had a travel swing, but that seems like a lot to carry. I think a tent or PNP would be enough

Last summer DS was 6 months old... and since I can't stand carrying a ton of stuff, I kept it simple. I brought a huge umbrella, a large blanket, and I even had this smaller baby umbrella thing that he laid in...worked well for us...he loved just laying in that thing (which is no longer made. So the beach tent will be the closest thing to it.

we have the tent, it folds up and carries really easily and keeps DD out of the sun.

I take our all terrain wagon and a bunch of toys. DD will spend hours digging, it's SOOO nice to be able to relax and read :). I stick a towel in wagon under the umbrella and she naps in there.

We bought dd bouncy seat with us. She was only 4 months for our beach vaca so she had to be covered at all times. We had umbrellas and a beach tent that someone there let us borrow.
