Sellers, I have a weird question

I hope no one gets offended, I never bought or sold a house so I'm just wondering about this.

When you list your house at a certain price do you have a price in mind that you would take before you even get offers? ex: If you list for $329,000 do you expect to get a lot of offers for $300,000? Or would you wait to sell until you got someone to buy what you listed for? just wondering

If I were to sell my house, I know the BOTTOM line I would not go under. But if I had a buyer make me a cash offer and it was a bit below what I had expected, I would take it.

Depends on the circumstances. But accepting a low offer because the buyers really cannot afford the house and offered what they could afford not was the house was worth. No!

I think its going to depend on the motivation of the seller. Some people have to sell fast, and may be more flexible on price. Some people have a number that they need to hit to cover their loan amount, some people are just feeling out the market and will only sell if they can get the $$ they want.

I think most buyers/sellers expect some negotiating after the original offer, and most homes do not sell at their actual listing price.

Every seller is different

Some prices are priced right and quick to sell. Some have some cushion.

Always offer less than what they are asking and you can negotiate
