What Color is your front door?
We are going to paint ours next week along with the shutters and I'm still going back and forth on color! Ugh.
What color did you choose? I need some help!

Ours is mahogony.
Not my first choice but our builders damaged our front door and I couldn't go with DH to pick out the new one. It's grown on me though.
Our old door was going to be forest green to match the shutters (our house was white siding and brick). We were going to paint it black with the renovation (green siding).

forest green....i hate it tho and i will be painting it along with the shutters black this summer
word of warning...if you have a glass insert in your door and it gets a lot of sun you will have problems with the insert and painting your door black....the heat that a black door gets will most likely cause the seal to fail on the insert.

word of warning...if you have a glass insert in your door and it gets a lot of sun you will have problems with the insert and painting your door black....the heat that a black door gets will most likely cause the seal to fail on the insert.

if you dont get a lot of direct sun or you have a porch over your front door and get pretty much none (like my house) you would be fine!
