Has anyone stayed at Beach Club Villas recently?
I made a reservation for a 2 bedroom suite for September at Beach Club Villas. After looking on Trip Advisor, I saw a couple of reviews that said they were kind of run down.
A couple of years ago we stayed at Saratoga Springs and had a completely run down room (carpets were torn, windows were rotted, etc.). I was so disappointed and should have complained, but it was a quick trip and we were hardly there.
Anyway, just wondering if anyone had a recent experience there.
TIA

They went through a "soft" renovation about a year or two ago. New carpets, drapes, etc. I don't think they changed the furniture though.
BCV has one of the highest occupancy rates in Disney. The rooms do get worn out fairly easily. If you are looking for something completely up to date, Bay Lake Tower may be your best bet.
That being said, I've never had an "awful" experience at Disney. Some of the rooms are a little bit worn out, but honestly, we don't spend a lot of time in the room anyway.
