anyone a member of a beach club, is it worth it

with a baby? I'm just thinking of what to do with her this summer. She's going to be roughly 6 months in June...so not even sure if its worth it for me...I live in Oceanside so going to the beach is going to be something thats really easy for me to do, but just wondering if joining a beach club with such a young baby is worth it...bc I know they are insanely expensive!!!

Thanks!

I am not a member but my friend is. In my opinion it is worth it. You will meet alot of other mommies that you can spend time with. You can leave everything you need for the baby right there in your cabana. It really is a social place. If my son was not of camp age I would join one too

My parents have been members of a beach club since I was 2. My parents became very good friends with a huge group of people who were in the same row and had kids close to us in age. Most of those people still belong to the club and my parents socialize with them during the off season. I think it's a good idea b/c you'll be able to meet other people with kids.
