Old Navy--on line only but decent selection and really good fit (run a little big, esp. the pants)

Motherhood has some stuff, but I am tall and found their shirts to be too short for my liking. Some stores carry plus and also on line. The outlet in Riverhead also carries plus.

JCPenney has plus size but I haven't gotten anything from them.

Happy Shopping!

ditto. I could use my stretchy new york and co work pants for the first -7-8 months, but by now im in old navy full panels...rotating three pairs and a pair of jeans for fridays, lol

I am bought a few items from destination maternity, but only on sale, their prices r high

Re: Plus sized ladies

Old Navy has been the best bet for clothes for me.

I'm normally a size 18 pre-pregnancy, and short. I got my jeans at motherhood (XL Petite) and a few tops in XL. The old navy tops in XL seemed to fit pretty well.

The XXL in maternity sizes seemed like tents on me though, it's weird. Not sure how their plus size maternity shop is since (to my surprise) I haven't had to use it.

Re: Plus sized ladies

With DS#1 I got most of my stuff from Motherhood maternity online or just went up a size on Lane Bryant (especially for tops).

For this pregnancy I need to get new maternity clothese since the season I was preggo in is differfent from DS#1. I'll be checking out some of the other sites mentioned in this post.

Good luck!

This sites customer service sucks. I wouldn't order from them. I ordered a dress when I was pg with DD and when it came it was a regular sized dress. Juse because it's empire waisted doesn't mean it's maternity. I had to report them to the BBB because they gave me such a hard time.

I second this....the clothes on this site are crap IMO for their sizing. Not to mention I ordered a dress thinking it was coming in one color and it came in a totally different one.

I'm still waiting for my return to process. Also, there are NO refunds -- if you order from them and hate the item, you have no choice but to take a credit from them. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

I know -- I was so bummed when the dress came that I liked. The material was cheap as hell and like kahlua, the sizing was no where like it should have been. I mean I know I'm a bigger gal, but I ordered a 1x and as I was putting it over my head, I could hear the thread pulling and snapping. That bad boy was NOT a 1X.

Then I was so mad to see I couldn't get any of my money back. What a joke!
