Stamped Concrete?
Has anyone tried stamped concrete for their patio or driveway instead of pavers? I have only seen pics online. I was wondering how it looks and how it differs in price at all from traditional pavers....

Re: Stamped Concrete?
I think it might depend on the color and stamp. The only one I've seen in person is the driveway of La Pizetta in Merrick. It looks a little busy to me. Some of the images I found online look amazing. I would like to see more in person. We are looking into it as well.

Re: Stamped Concrete?
we just ahd someone come over today for an opnion. he said that the stamped concrete is on $2sq ft cheaper than pavers. he also mentioned that there is no drainage with the concrete and if its not done perfect than it can cause puddles. we decided that pavers are for us :) hth

My neighbor has a stamped concrete driveway and it looks great.
