Today is my shower
I've been on bedrest for 3.5 weeks, and this is really the first thing other than doctor's appts that I'm leaving the apartment for. I am THRILLED! I'll be 35w tomorrow and feeling confident that going to my shower is a good decision.
I went to the OB yesterday and they didn't bother to check my cervix this week - it's their opinion that I'm doing a great job and that if I go now, I go now. OB wants me to try to hold  in until next Sunday if I can. 
I'm just so excited and overwhelmed that I've made it this far in my pregnancy, and I can't wait to see my friends and family and have a reason to get dressed and put on makeup and feel NORMAL again.
Just wanted to share!

its so crazy that you might have your little girl by next week!! i know its early and everything but i feel your pregnancy went super fast! i still remember the day you posted you were pregnant!! soo happy for you marissa!

Aw Jess, I do too! I remember FMing with you while DH and I were on a mini-vacation ... I was FMing you from our hotel room from my BlackBerry, lol!
