If you have cysts.....
I know I have cysts, the extent of them are unknown....I have a sono on Monday to see if its PCOS. I dont know if I O, I had a + OPK on this Weds and Thurs. FF has not detectd O yet, although my temp did rise this morning by .4, to the highest its been yet so we will see if this continues and I can confirm whether I Od or not.
with that said, yesterday, I assume wouldve been O day. I had the most excruciating pain in my right hip, not near the hip, but the whole hip itself, and in radiated down to my knee. This went on for about 2 hours and then was gone.
If you have cysts, and you O yourself, is it painful when you do? Or if you have cysts and you dont O on your own is it painful when your body tries to O but cant?
Im just curious as to what it couldve been. Being that it wouldve coincided with an O day based on OPKs....I was curious if that couldve had anything to do with it.

Re: If you have cysts.....
I have a cyst 2.4cm on my right ovary. I had a flare up this past ovulation. The dr said it is very common to flare during ov. I had one blow up last oct, never knew I had them prior. Aside from this past ov, my normal ov is af cramps pain. Nothing mJor, but def noticable.

Re: If you have cysts.....
I found out I have a rather large cyst on one of my ovaries. Not sure how long I have had it but it is on the right side and for the past 8 or 9 months I would get really bad pain every so often during O time only on my right side. I have confirmed Ovulation with OPKs as well as taking my temp but I am sure my cyst interferes with it happening fully in some sort of way.
My case is a bit different because I do not have PCOS related cysts, I have an endometriosis related cyst. I tend to get bad lower back and knee pain as well but usually that only happens during AF.

Re: If you have cysts.....
I have PCOS myself but never had trouble with regulation or anything, just extreme pain. Joy. I do have this tearing feeling during ovulation and it gets to the point where I just am massaging my stomach.
