How much are red light tickets? Update
I have no idea if I got one but I have a $29.20 dollar change from "American Traffic Solution" on my credit card.
I don't own a car but had to rent one for a day for work last month. Does that sound right?
Update: It is a violation in the rental car! I'm currently trying to get details on it! I am surprised I never got a notice....

I THINK mine was $50, but I could be wrong.
ETA: They just charged your credit card? They should have sent you an actual ticket, or at least that's what they did to me.

I can't imagine that they would be able to charge your credit card without your permission. I'd disbute that charge immediately.
DH got a red light ticket several months ago and I think it was for $50.

I beleive my DH's was $50 as well.
I'm not sure if they can bill your credit card automatically- but maybe because it was a rental, they can?

I would call the company & see what the charge is.
No one should be charging to your card without your authorization.

I believe they are $50.
They send you a ticket though, don't actually charge your credit card. i would call up the company, they shouldnt be charging your credit card without your authorization.

When you sign the rental agreement you authorize them to charge your credit card for everything including damage and violations.
Having said that, they should have notified you about the ticket first. I would definitely bring it up.
Do you have a copy of the rental agreement?

Did you use your EZ Pass on the rental car?
I remember getting a ticket for about $29 because I used my EZ pass on a car that was not assigned to my license plate.
