I know that some high ranches have a wall and some dont.
upon entering the house, we have stairs going up on the left, stairs going down on the right...

On the right is the livingrm/dining room.
Im debating whether to take down the wall on the right side, to open up the living rm/dr area (and we'd need to put up railing).

Has anyone done this ? are you happy with it or regret it ?
does anyone already have the raililng and no wall ?
if anyone can post pics, that would be great, thanks !!
