I want to take my husband away for 3 nights, some where driveable to celebrate his 40th b-day. He likes the beach so I was thinking either

Cape May
Ocean City, MD

His B-day is in Many.
If anyone has been to these places could you recommend a place to stay and if there's anything fun to do in the area
