I believe it. I think tummy time is really important. I know lots of babies don't love it but I'm going to make sure  gets her tummy time in each day!

Great article -- but did it say how long a day you're supposed to aim for? I'm going to ask the pediatrician today at DD's 2 month appointment. We get in 15-30 minutes a day easily, but now I'm thinking from that article that she should be getting like an hour or two!

Thank you for posting this! DD isntcoming until May, but I will be sure to talk to the ped about tummy time.
And now Im glad I registered for one of those cute little playmay/gyms that you can put them on for tummy time! :)

I asked today and the pediatrician said 5-10 minutes "a few times" a day. She does about 15-30 minutes a day, spread out, so I think we're ok.
